	I had no idea what you meant by nickname names. I was trying things like Jack and Jimmy, which I knew was wrong. Give us an explanation of what that means.

	A nickname is a humorous or familiar descriptive name given to replace (or add to) the actual name. Eg., someone on a sports team being called 'Scary' by their team-mates. Nickname surnames are ones where the surname was originally a nickname, such as 'White' or 'Black' (usually a reference to hair colour). Other examples are Savage, Wise and Young.

	I admit some of these are difficult to spot, though - you have to know quite a lot about etymology to get the harder ones. For example, Lloyd (and Floyd) are from the early medieval Welsh word 'llwyd' meaning 'grey', and Manning derives from the Norse Viking word 'maningi' meaning strong or valiant.
