We need one of these for every letter. A third column with the name's overall rank for that decade would be nice, too.

@rogerpants: I've done a quiz for most letters (girl names), and I'm made a start on creating ones for boy names too. Links are to be found on my profile. :) Good idea about a third column; I'll put that in place in my future 'letter' name quizzes. I can't add anything to this quiz because on publication it was locked by the admins.

@adamnvillani: Melanie was 7th most popular 'M' girls name in the 1970s, Melinda was 10th in the 1960s and Matilda was 16th in the 1880s. That's the highest any of them got.

Why do Michelle and Michele count as two different names? They're just two different spellings of the same name. You should accept either spelling for both.

Well, the good thing about Michaela is that it does show clearly the fact that it is a feminine form of Michael. With the spelling Makayla/Mikayla that isn't obvious. I don't think Makayla/Mikayla are horrible, though

I don't care for a lot of names that are given to kids now, but I didn't care for a lot of names in past decades, either. I just find it tiresome that so many people find it fashionable to rank on what others name their kids. I mean, aren't there real issues to get upset about in the world? Anyway, I love these quizzes. I've done most of the other ones that triplet_3 created. These are always a lot of fun. Good work
