@Mimbleton: Spotted dick is a type of steamed suet pudding with currants in it, usually served with custard. A bit stodgy, but nice in the winter if you're in the mood for something hot and filling for pudding (dessert).

@emmafrisbee: Sussex pond pudding is another type of boiled/steamed suet pudding, but with a whole lemon, sugar and butter inside. When cooked the filling turns into a caramelised sauce, which runs out when you cut into the pudding.
