Harvey and Archie, I guess they are giving birth to 80 year olds. BTW, do people really register kids only with "short names", I mean like Charlie, Ben, or Sam are supposed to be shorter versions of given names and not given names on their own

@lucia, erm if Harvey and Archie are 80 year olds, then so are the Johns, Williams, Roberts, etc...

In the UK nicknames like Charlie are used more on their own than in the US. But if you look back at older stats from the Social Security Admin, you will see plenty of nickname names like Bobby, Billy, Sam, etc.

Lots of Weasleys on this list: Arthur, William, Charlie, Fred(erick), George. Kept trying variations of Ron and Percy but to no avail!

@Skizzo, well yeah, most names have been around for centuries, that doesnt make it ok do give a newborn a name like Harvey, cammon why do people hate their kids. Whats next, a revival of Beulah?? Not that calling someone Ashton is any better, but still.
