| Revenge of The Fallen should be accepted as Transformers 2 |

| Glad at least of some of the seven harry potter movies I guessed after getting the first were right. |
 | arilicious: | Feb 14th, 2013 at 04:21 GMT | | -2 points |
| Most of these are either sequels or part of some big franchise. |

| This quiz should definitely accept "Philosopher's Stone" as well as "Sorcerer's Stone." |
 | MadameRay: | Feb 14th, 2013 at 04:33 GMT | | 31 points |
| I was going to try 'Sorcerer's Stone' when 'Philosopher's Stone' didn't work, but I figured I'd rather complain about it in the comments instead. |
Comment below threshold: show it | OliveGreen: | Feb 14th, 2013 at 05:53 GMT | | -15 points |
| And I was going to silently acknowledge the truth that international titles should be accepted but I figured I'd rather make a stupid little comment instead. |

| Not a Twilight movie in sight. All is well with the world. |

| For some reason, I am surprised to see Skyfall so high up. |

| Holy cow do I suck--never even thought of franchises (aside from George Lucas who disappointed me)! Adding to the irony, I am currenlty reading #19 to my sons--had I even thought of that I'd have quadrupled my score with its fellows. |

| Nice quiz. If I may quibble, I might suggest accepting things like "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1" instead of demanding including the word "Part". |

| 'Philosopher's Stone' really should be acceptable. It is in almost every other movie quiz in which it appears. |

| It's disappointing to see a Transformers movie so high up. Also, getting a bit nit-picky here, Pirates of the Caribbean 2..3..4 all are accepted, but typing Star Wars Episode 1 doesn't work. I felt wronged. |
 | PintRocker: | Feb 14th, 2013 at 14:19 GMT | | 4 points |
| Interesting that out of the top 25, only 4 are not sequels or based on previously existing works in other formats (or theme park rides). |
 | rockgolf: | Feb 14th, 2013 at 14:39 GMT | | 4 points |
| I saw Skyfall and Flight on a double bill. The films could have swapped titles. |
 | gopaladins: | Feb 14th, 2013 at 14:52 GMT | | -3 points |
| i don't think "harry potter" is accepted. cuz i got the others, but not that one. also @rockgolf: how could bond have been titled "flight"? |

| It's amazing that Jurassic Park and Lion King are still on this list, 20 and 19 years later, respectively. I wonder where they would fall on a list with inflation adjustment. |

| Where is Tommy Wiseau's The Room???? |

| @jamieg - I found a US list by googling - http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/adjusted.htm |

| There needs to be some other clue than release year and gross total to get the movie, I think. Maybe director or some of the cast, but the average score for this is about 6-7 right now. |

| No context without inflation adjustment. And these figures include DVD sales as well? |

| Regarding the Dark Knight franchise, I think Batman: Dark Knight Rises would be sufficient (I think that's what I typed... which didn't give me credit) |
 | OONAGH275: | Feb 17th, 2013 at 14:54 GMT | | 0 points |
| You shouldn't have to give the full title for the Harry Potter or Star Wars movies. |
 | canadagraphs: | Feb 19th, 2013 at 13:46 GMT | | 1 point |
| Me in the last minute - "Star Wars?. Nope Star Wars A New Hope? Nope. Star Wars Episode 4? Nope. Star Wars 4? Nope. Ahhh well, guess none of them made it.... *quiz ends*... EPISODE I?? *Stabs computer screen*" |

| 14 out of the 25 films were British ones. So much for Hollywood. |
