Its Stanford not Standford

This quiz is a good idea but there are several problems. First, as AHubb points out, "Stanford" is spelled incorrectly. Second, you need to specify what kind of national championships you're looking for. The modern-day national titles really weren't recognized until the 1930s. As Princeton, Yale and Harvard are included, you could feasibly argue that other lower-division schools should be included as well. In addition, I think you should list the schools by their last national title, not their first one. I know Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and Miami have won titles since the years given.

I like listing the hint as the first title as it makes the game harder. I also don't have any problem with Yale, Princeton, etc, as those championships are officially recognized even if they were determined retroactively. Gotta fix that Stanford spelling.

Who "officially recognized" these? Not the NCAA.

I agree with WadeGarrett, put the last time a team has won a national championship (Ex. Notre Dame - 1988, Miami - 2001, Pittsburgh - 1976, etc.)
