| Here's the big problem with this list - it's switching between worldwide sales and Japan sales willy-nilly. It's using the numbers from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_video_games#Nintendo_Entertainment_System. That's fine - but note that a number of things in the top 15 and below count Japan sales only. Games sold far more in the US - so it's wholly possible that, for instance, Excite Bike's US sales, when added into that chart, would bring the game over, say, Mahjong or Family Stadium, which never got a US release. This is made worse by the fact that the list is, for other games such as the Zeldas, counting world-wide sales. So it's a list of two totally different things being conflated. That's a fundamentally unfair quiz. |
