Due to the nature of the "Allow single-character answers" option, it's either have multiple entries pop up for a single letter, or disable single-character answers like "7" and "h", so unfortunately it's a limitation of the quiz creator. Sorry.

Lol, period. You crazy americans ;) Full stop is where it's at 8)
Sep 26th, 2009 at 21:07 GMT
Yeah - it's also a stroke as well as a slash.
Sep 26th, 2009 at 21:52 GMT
no chance of getting "little squiggly thing" accepted is there? lol
Sep 27th, 2009 at 04:31 GMT
Added those alternate answers and fixed a typo on backslash.

What about the square parentheses?
Sep 28th, 2009 at 13:57 GMT
i liked this, but my british laptop keyboard confused me, my brackets are above my 9 and 0 and ive got an apostrophe and a # sign. poor me
Sep 28th, 2009 at 21:25 GMT
Yeah, British keyboards are different, how odd. Do you think you could accept 'open brackets' and 'close brackets'? I didn't know what to refer to them as!
Sep 28th, 2009 at 22:21 GMT
when I press the "." button, the letter A appears.
Sep 28th, 2009 at 22:36 GMT
You're missing the menu key. "Hyphen" should be accepted in place on "minus," and "apostrophe" should be accepted instead of "quote."
Sep 29th, 2009 at 16:31 GMT
74 out of 83 (not bad for a mac user) :)
Sep 29th, 2009 at 17:04 GMT
Boy do I feel stupid. I sat there pushing all the buttons, including Shift, Control, Alt, Tab, etc, not figuring out why they weren't working.
Sep 30th, 2009 at 03:43 GMT
i feel your pain jal
Sep 30th, 2009 at 11:42 GMT
How come so few people know M? I didn't, and I'm surprised.
Sep 30th, 2009 at 20:20 GMT
Why is "p" the only one that is 100% ?
Oct 1st, 2009 at 00:57 GMT
****ing forgot space
Oct 1st, 2009 at 15:42 GMT
I peeked and I still only got 63. Man, I feel dumb. Stupid Macbook.
Oct 1st, 2009 at 16:09 GMT
This is hilarious. I got 76 without looking at the keyboard, but I kept spotting clues all over the screen without wanting to. (there's a colon! and a slash!)
Oct 3rd, 2009 at 15:02 GMT
how did 99% get n and only 50% got m
Oct 3rd, 2009 at 23:01 GMT
equal should fit for equals
Oct 4th, 2009 at 16:14 GMT
I managed to miss 'm' too, funny! There seems to be some inconsistancy over what we have to type out in full (Scr lock as Scroll lock, but Num lock not as Number lock). Any chance of having 'open bracket' and 'close bracket'?
Oct 5th, 2009 at 20:26 GMT
most of my laptops buttons are abbreviated so i didnt know that "PRTSC" was print screen. or that there was even a print screen button in the first place
Oct 6th, 2009 at 01:00 GMT
Hmm...maybe it's counting all of the test runs I did where I'd only test a couple of answers then quit. I'll also add in scr lock/number lock, and add some more bracket answers.

what the hell is a tilde...is that suspose to be the accent
Oct 7th, 2009 at 19:14 GMT
wow forgot the space bar...
Oct 7th, 2009 at 22:06 GMT
I didn't do good since my keyboard is a logitech and i don't know what half of the keys are called on this one anyway
Oct 7th, 2009 at 22:55 GMT
i stopped when i found myself cheating horribly.
Oct 9th, 2009 at 07:22 GMT
I have a right click button.
Oct 9th, 2009 at 07:24 GMT
also, @fm_: apostrophe and quote aren't the same. Apostrophe = ' Quote = "
Oct 12th, 2009 at 00:02 GMT
@lalalala: Apostrophe and quote are on the same key.

Oct 21st, 2009 at 16:45 GMT
the easiest quiz to cheat on in the history of sporcle!
Oct 27th, 2009 at 00:50 GMT
you should add 'any key' or 'the any key' as a bonus answer.
Sep 20th, 2010 at 00:12 GMT
Okay, these quiz results are completely random. "P" is guessed 99.9% of the time and other letters are less. Looks like many people forgot about zero. Look at the drop-off between the least-guessed and the second least-guessed. Oh, and I forgot the space bar.
Jul 20th, 2011 at 16:14 GMT
I got equals and missed tilde, but on the results page it shows the opposite. Probably the reason for the big drop off for the = sign.
