So Tennessee borders a state that borders Tennessee that doesn't border Tennessee itself? This game just went down the rabbit hole.

I agree with crazylegs. Take Tennessee out and this would be a great quiz.

So the argument just boils down to "does a state border itself?" If someone can provide me a compelling reason that it does in fact border itself, then I will take it out as an answer. For instance, in today's published Germany's borders quiz, Germany is not an acceptable answer.

Just so we're clear here, I don't disagree with your inclusion of Tennessee. I was just trying to make a joke that I think failed :(

Considering Tennessee as an answer is a bit tricky to me. I think a better 'trick' would've been to exclude Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland since both Kentucky and Virginia are in fact not states, but Commonwealths.

@greatscott, Illinois would still be included as it borders the state of Missouri. lol
