I was thinking "Little Red-Headed Girl," too, but then I checked my "Complete Peanuts" (current through 1976), and she's consistently referred to as the "Little Red-Haired Girl," not "Red-Headed," with the notable exception of the very first time she's referenced, in 1961, where she's called "the little girl with red hair." |
