| All cities are more or less planned - you can't really plan the perfect city anyway - sooner or later problems will still appear. For example Brasilia was built on a socialist dream, but since socialism failed, there are now "favelas" in the outskirts just like in Rio de Janeiro. A city finds it natural development. It's all supply and demand - its formation depends on population, business, education, government, and so on - more or less. Capitals like London, Copenhagen, or Stockholm are as beloved as any. Planned or not. |
