| Great quiz. I find it kind of amazing, looking back, that Paul Smith's run, which stands out so much in my mind (perfect style for the comic, great stories during those issues too), was only a year. I'd still say he's my favorite artist of these - Byrne is second, Romita and Cockrum did good work (altho Cockrum's style was never to my taste), and Kirby is Kirby. If Don Heck is the one who did the Havok and Polaris debuts, he was good. As for Adam Kubert, I thought he was more suited to Wolverine - his run on that book from #75-100 or so was a favorite of mine growing up. Google Wolverine #77 for an example. |
