	At the risk of nit picking, the title of the second Orwell novel is Nineteen Eighty-Four spelled out, not the number.

	Not sure why I'm getting voted down, since that is the official name of the novel. Several of the quizzes on this site list it as such even. At the very least the number spelled out should be accepted, since it is in all the other quizzes where the book appears.

	a confederacy of dunces anyone? lady chatterley's lover? good, broad list by time anyway. I guess joyce is spinning in his grave somewhere, missing the list by a year, or maybe this was intentional, although i can't think why.

	Why did they start in 1923 as opposed to the 20th century? I have problems with the list but the quiz is fun..and 14 minutes is not a lot of time for this one...heck i got only 26 and mayeb should have gotten like 10-15 more

	Jeremy, you might have already learned this, but 1923 is when Time started publishing. And I wasn't logged in, so I can't prove it, but I got 95 of them. I worked in a bookstore for awhile, though, so that helped.

	Philip Roth is spelled with one l. It's right on one of the clues. Nathaniel West should be Nathanael. I wish I'd realized at the beginning this was alphabetical. I was halfway through my time before I realized...

	I definitely thought that the Harry Potter novels would be on this list, and spent at least two minutes typing them in ... until I realised JKRowling was not actually on the list..

	A more interesting list than the Modern Library one. But also more people I'd never heard of... And really, should comic books be on there? If so, where's Uncle Scrooge?
