| In regards to Tom Lenk playing two different roles on Buffy, Kali Rocha also officially played two different roles, too. The writers had an inside joke when she appeared as the second character, to make you think she might be the first character still, but Whedon maintains that they are not the same person. In regards to people appearing on both Buffy and Angel there were many more than have been listed here so far (i.e. Darla, Drusilla, Harmony, Oz, Buffy, Willow, etc.), but those shouldn't count because they were the same character on both shows. Andy Hallet (the Host on Angel) also was an extra in the classic silent episode of Buffy. I agree with the others that Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog should have been counted. If you want to stretch things a bit, Whedon has had Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, and as a different character on a recent episode of Glee that he directed. |
