By long-form name, I mean a name such as "People's Republic of China", the corresponding short-form of which would be "China". The goal of this quiz is to name the countries that either do not have a long-form name, or have a long-form that is identical to the short-form.

Surprisingly hard! I know you've used a source so it's not really your fault but I would argue that Saint Vincent is a short form, or is that just a Sporcle thing?

The source lists Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as the "short-form" name. I think Saint Vincent is not so much a short-form as a colloquial form, like "US" or "America" is for "United States".

Interesting quiz. According to your source Vatican itself is not a country, its the capital of Holy See (which does not have a long form either).

I put Holy See as a bonus answer because State of the Vatican City is also considered the official name by several other sources.
