	The Northern Colorado Bears won the 2011 Big Sky Conference Tournament, earning their first ever bid to the NCAA Tournament. The list has been updated from 55 to 54 teams.

	The Centenary Gentlemen left the Summit League and Division 1 Basketball, therefore reducing the list of teams from 54 to 53.

	South Dakota State won the Summit League Conference in 2012, securing their first NCAA Tournament Berth. Loyola (MD) won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) title in 2012, which I thought secured their first NCAA Tournament Berth. However, they actually made it once previously back in 1994. The list is now down to 51 current Division I teams yet to make the tournament.

	Norfolk State won the 2012 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Conference Title, securing their first tournament appearance.
