	This quiz is a response to someone else's epic fail in trying to do execute this idea. If you want to check it out here's the link http://www.sporcle.com/games/TymanZ/sportsposistions. Let me know if there are any changes/corrections that I should make.

	this is definitely better, but i would definitely make the distinction between linebackers, since there is a large difference between 3-4 and 4-3, so maybe split it up into middle linebacker (4-3 only), outside linebacker (both), and inside linebacker (3-4 only), as they all have different roles. As well, nose tackle is generally how nose guard is referred to.

	also, maybe put pitchers as defence/both, to differentiate AL from NL? (technically both different leagues)

	if you're going to do a quiz for the american footy positions, do it, but why add some other american sports and then only 4 for a global sport, one of which isn't necessary in a formation (you can have a team without fullbacks). you should replace fullback with defender as i think that is what you mean. i actually thought this quiz would be a bunch of positions unique to a sport, where you'd have to name the sport. so you could have quarterback (american football), pitcher (baseball), hooker (rugby), caddy (golf?) stuff like that.

	why do you have the exact positions for most sports but you only have midlields fullbacks and forwards for football (not soccer)eg. midfielders would be wingers, centre midfielders..

	@jeps: I changed it so that the line backers are separated into Middle and Outside Line Backers since those two are the most commonly referred to with other ones available as bonus answers. Also, I originally put pitchers as "both" since in lower levels of baseball, such as high school and college, pitchers frequently hit while other players may be DH-ed for. However, now that I notice that the title is "positions in PROFESSIONAL sports" I realize that in the American League you can only DH for the pitcher.

	@wondernick: You're right about the fullback/defender distinction so I made that change. Also, good idea for a follow up quiz.

	@adam999: From wikipedia, "The fluid nature of the modern game means that positions in football are not as formally defined as in sports such as rugby or American football." That being said, I'm open to the idea of dividing each of the Association Football positions into their most common designations, especially if the consensus from other people who know more about the sport is that I should.

	If I could offer up a few suggestions.... 1. Accept Kickoff Returner for Kick Returner 2. Goalie/Goaltender/Goalkeeper should apply to both Soccer and Hockey. Other than that, it's a decent quiz.
