It was an intriguing quiz ... I know nothing about football, but got them all with about 2:30 remaining, because there is a relatively small pool of nations the answers can come from. I would recommend lowering the alotted time to make it more challenging. Otherwise, I think this is a very worthy quiz!

I think that West Germany and Germany should be separate, Soviet Union be an answer, an Czechoslovakia an answer.

I think Germany should be split into 3 as one of East Germany's victories was against West Germany

I agree that West Germany and Germany should be separate as well as Soviet Union from Russia and you should not take Slovakia for Czechoslovakia

If anything, the answers for Germany should be split between "Germany" and "East Germany", with west germany being accepted for "germany", but not "east germany". I think it is fine the way it is though.

Agreeing with the others, Germany can't be split because many of the years they had wins with two teams playing. They were totally separate nations at the time.

From a legal standpoint, the nation now known as Germany is the old West Germany. When the GDR fell part, they were absorbed into the western part as the sucessor to the Third Reich. USSR should be froen at 15, with russia having two wins and Czechoslovakia at 11. Have Serbia, Croatia, etc. won any matches?

Where's the USA lolol

Croatia finished third in the Cup in 1998, so yes they have won matches (6 to be exact).

We should look at continuity in terms of legal successors. West Germany became Germany, East Germany did not. I think the East German victories should not count towards Germany, but the West German should. I'm less certain about the others. I think that Serbia's team is probably the successor to Yugoslavia's, and the Czech Republic's to Czechoslovakia's, but I'm not really sure, or about Russia and the USSR.
