Don't worry, you're not the only one. When I was making this quiz, I couldn't believe a few of the names in the AL west.

2006 AL West - Frank Thomas had 39 homers to Swisher's 35. Otherwise it's a great quiz.

Thanks for the correction, made the change. I think while looking up the stats I instinctively saw his name and thought White Sox.

Amazing how much the numbers went down across the board as steroids were out of the picture. Good quiz

why does 73 HR have an asterisk?

6 Yankees and not even one Met... *Sigh* There's always next year...

why would you put an asterisk on only one of bonds seasons when half the list is suspected steroids users? if it's not mlb's official stance to put an asterisk on that number, don't put one

I'm guessing the asterisk is because it is the single season record, not because of the steroid use.

Vlad Guerrero hit 44 HR in 2000 - not 47.

Also, Dave Justice in 2000 is not technically correct. That season was split between CLE and NYY. He hit 21 HR for the Indians and 20 for the Yankees. Therefore, he did not hit 41 homers in the AL East.

agreed make david justice a bonus for al east and central and specify why you have an asterisk next to 73 and its a perfect 5!

I think in quizzes like this where there is a tie, we should have to guess everyone for that year individually instead of those who guessed Ludwick lucking into Pujols.

73 probably has an asterisk next to it because Barry Bonds cheated by taking steroids.

Ok, took out the asterisk next to bonds since people didn't seem to find it funny. Also moved Justice to a bonus answer as well as Dunn in the nl west for '08. I put both players under the division they finished the season in. And for the years with a tie, anyone else agree with 'cocky' above? If so I'll switch that up as well.

Also fixed Guerrero's HR total from '00. If there are any other mistakes, please let me know.

You could make it harder by making it the most home runs each year by players against teams from their own division, but that would take a ton of extra research, probably not worth it

not sure how I got ARod for the Yankees, but not for the Rangers. Looks like I'm not the only one, either - since 98% are getting him for the Yanks and only 86% are getting him for the Rangers.

The reason the percents are different is because originally this quiz only was 2005-2009. Not sure why it only gave you credit for the Yankees answer.

Good quiz. Timing's just right to keep us from guessing every single possibility.

something is a little screwed up here. The only two I missed were Kendry Morales and Richie Sexson. The results page indicates I missed Sammy Sosa, Cubs, 49 HR Vladimir Guerrero, Angels, 27 HR Morales Jack Cust, Athletics, 33 HR

I entered in only Cust and gave up with a score of 1/60. On the results page, Cust was not highlighted but Frank Thomas was for some reason. I really don't know how to fix this.

@ themaintraning -- Anytime the bonus answers appear in the middle of the puzzle instead of the end, it throws off the counting of the answers. What was going to be answer number 38 becomes answer number 39. This was a great concept for a quiz and I enjoyed it
