The time for the quiz is so cruelly appropriate. I got 54/55 3 times before I finally got them all. Of course, that could be because I'm doing this on a laptop...

I think it is unfair to include the "0 x Infinity" question in a 1 minute speed quiz.

I threw that in there mostly as a joke, but I think you're right so I will take it out.

Nice quiz, great time pressure... I'm in math grad school, and I got 41/55! Though I blame it on doing it from a laptop too :-P

Good idea, but you should either: a) add more time b) not make it random.

Why is this under science instead of math?

I think it should be fine to remove random order since you can already see all the questions at once, so it's not like there's a scrolling problem. @Dainamo: Extending the time wouldn't make it "Minute Math" any more, tho. @mybeaglebelle: There is no "Math" category, math quizzes usually file under Science.

I wish they were randomly arranged every time but went down in order, i just lose time when i have to see where the light is flashing...hmm idk maybe it wouldn't suit everyone, but it would work for me..

Agreed with universallove - the hardest part for me is getting my eyes to focus on the next question. I've seen some quizzes where the next question doesn't appear until the previous one is answered. Perhaps something like that would work?

For universallove and austin5string - instead of looking at the boxes that change, just focus on the part right above the bar - the question appears there, you don't need to look below at all. The line above the text bar changes to: "enter 4x5", "enter 2x9" and so forth. This is definitely a typing accuracy test as well. Playing on a laptop without a keypad, having to constantly correct my 45 instead of 56 ensured that I could not get them all.

i know the point of the quiz is to get it in a minute but theres no way my fingers can go fast enough to finish it in that time

Agree with harry2quinn - best I was doing was 45-45 right. But once I started just looking at the bar I was getting them all with 10 seconds to spare each time. Makes it much easier.

Nice quiz! It's definitely tough without a separate numeric keypad on my laptop, though. Anyway, it was still cool.

It really does help to look at the numbers right above the bar. When I tried looking at the changing boxes I only got 37, but when I just looked above the bar I was able to get all 50.

Look at the bar! Look at the bar! I still can't type but the fingers can sure do better if I don't look at the grid.

So, this is the quiz I will use from now on to determine how drunk I am to interact after staying out all day/go out again after drinking all afternoon/stay in and call it a night from now on.. Thank you, Sporcle.
