	Before anyone criticizes me for the game, let me just say this: I do not support Obama. I don't like his policies, that does not mean I am racist against him. I got this idea from the Bush gaffes quiz and decided to do one for Obama. Everyone makes mistakes guys, the media just didn't like Bush and therefore made him a scapegoat. Learn to look at both sides once in a while. In before this comment gets voted wayyyy into the negatives.

	this game is just a childish attack. if i could give this game less of a rating, i would. I know you want people to know what you think and be noticed, but this is the wrong place to do it.

	However, Bush neglected Afghanistan, never tried to improve health care like now, lied about an entire war-Iraq, and never did anything about disasterous global warming (while Europe and China moved ahead), left office right as a major economic collapse occured, and thought that people in Iraq (not Afghanistan) caused 9/11 in several State of the Unions.

	Joe the Plumber--for all his attacks on spending--knows a lot about spreading the wealth around. He was on welfare! Which is ok, but if you're going to criticize social programs, make sure you haven't been on one first. Check out my quiz where you have to identify right-wingers who've said crazy stuff. 	I don't think that the Joe the Plumber one really counts as a gaffe--it's a perfectly legitimate opinon, and doesn't express anything that's false. It's an amusing quiz.

	In Spanish class today, I said something very inappropriate instead of what I wanted to say, due to a single letter. The teacher told everyone, and they all laughed. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS FUNNY. I'm sure none of them (at least not all of them) hate me. Back off this quiz, guys.

	Everyone messes up on the campaign trail so I don't think all of these are really fair. Candidates get hustled from rally to rally under round-the-clock media scrutiny with maybe a couple of hour's sleep; McCain ended up telling western Pennsylvania how much he agrees that they're obnoxious racists. That said the Austrian thing is pretty embarrassing, even if he meant dialect he's still the wrong side of Europe.

	That's my point. Everyone ragged on Bush for his mess-ups, but everyone does mess up. I'm not childishly attacking him, if so most people in America childishly attacked Bush.

	^ You also need to consider that Bush was extremely unpopular with Europeans, far more than in the usa. You're quite confirming the Arrogant american stereotype by asuming that the only people critisizing and voting for these games are the "People of our country".

	People ragged on Bush's mess-ups because, love him or hate him, he was not a public speaker. He couldn't pronounce "nuclear" for Christ's sakes. It's a testament to how biased you are that you count things that aren't even gaffes (like the Joe the Plumber comment) as gaffes, then say Obama and Bush both make mistakes. You're right, everyone DOES make mistakes. This doesn't mean that some people can't make considerably MORE mistakes. It has nothing to do with Bush being a republican, I mean hell, you don't see people making a "Ronald Reagan gaffes" quiz. Know why? Because Reagan, like Obama, had a measure of control over the English language that Bush couldn't dream of.

	I love the way people get so up tight about things. Yeah Bush flubbed lines. But what makes this quiz great, is that we're fed the line that Obama is a great speaker and he's near perfect. If these lines were done by Bush, Letterman would've rolled off his interns to play them over and over. And the Joe the Plumber is a gaffe...just watch how he tried to take it back during the third debate. Bush got his share of digs and slams for the 8 years...Obama can get his. And for the person that blamed everything on Bush...let's remember it's a two party system...blame goes all around...that's a fact. Why is that the economy when it tanks on Obama's watch is Bush's fault...but 9/11 can't be blamed on Clinton? Enjoy this quiz for the humor it has...don't take it personal...if you do, you're no better than the crazies that try to prevent us from having the freedom of dissent and debate.

	Economy "tanked" - September 2008. Obama becomes president - January 2009. Under his watch, I don't think so. Bush president from January 2001 - 8 months prior to 9/11 Get your facts right before you use them in arguments. I do agree that this quiz is getting more flack than it deserves - everyond does make mistakes.

	robzilla...you're right, I got them mixed up. Under your logic, because it happens during their term, then Lincoln is at fault for the Civil War...happened on his watch. I didn't realize that not taking it to the terrorists for 8 years after they tried to knock the towers down in '93 and doing nothing about the USS Cole, being a laughing stock for Black Hawk Down...you're right, blame can only be placed on Bush. I bet you're the kind of person that debates people that the job loss now is Bush's fault...though...we're losing millions of jobs on.......Obama's watch. Buuuut, let's blame Bush for everything. 	Just because he tried to take it back doesn't make it a gaffe. If it was, then every time anyone changes their position, their previous one would be a "gaffe." But besides that, this quiz is getting too much flack. Although I have to say, neither this nor the Bush quiz is that great. The fromat doesn't really work for Sporcle.

	@elduderino: I'm trying hard not to enter this mess of an argument, but it should be pointed out that most of the South seceded before Lincoln took office, and the Confederacy had already begun to take over federal military installations. Buchanan is universally blamed for his inaction. Also, anyone who talks about the economic crisis as if it's any particular president's fault is an idiot and needs to learn some basic economics. We don't have a planned economy--there's only so much any president can do. But Bush does deserve some blame for pretending that the economy was rosy when it really wasn't.

	This is a lighthearted quiz. Yes, if Bush said these they would probably be on Letterman and all sorts of news outlets, because it was the POPULAR thing to do to hate Bush. Just like, right now at least, its the popular thing to do to like Obama. It also didn't help Bush's cause that he sounded like he was from the hills so his blunders were exacerbated by his accent. Either way, some people need to lighten up. Marking comments that in any way say something even slightly negative about Obama (not even things hateful...) just proves how silly some people are. It's ok to slam one president, but the next one comes along and you better mark that comment down so no one can see that comment! Silly.
