Whoever makes this quiz should put up the rest of the verses. There are actually three more stanzas as long as this one that most people don't know about.

Zao. I don't think so. I can't even sing my own national anthem I know I will not be able to sing O Canada, which is a very nice song btw.

I love how all Americans know their national anthem. In England our national anthem is sung before a football match and a camera films every player standing side by side. You'd be lucky if half of them are singing. Disgraceful.

I only got 21...I'm American (not by choice), and I didn't even know there were 3 other verses. I thought there was only one more.

Well, I've been to enough baseball (to make this even more American) that I knew all the words from hearing it before every game. At one game, the mic went out for the singer and the whole crowd picked it up immediately and sang together while everything else was quiet around us. Very cool experience.

O thus be it ev'r, when free men shall stand Between their loved homes and the war's desolation... aaaand I can't remember the rest. If you're not from the 'states, then it's okay to miss any number of these. But if you ARE from the 'states and you miss ANY of them, then you should feel ashamed of yourself. Oddly enough, this poem was written by a Scottish man- all the more proof that Scotland is the most awesome small country in the world.

And Scotland's national anthem is officially God save the Queen, a durge if ever I heard one. 'O flower of Scotland....', there is an anthem. If only for the rugby.

I got them all correct and I'm a Brit through and through. It's amazing what goes in the noggin' and stays there after one summer at an American summer camp...I reckon I could get 100% in a similar quiz of the pledge of allegiance.

@graphicggh: Assuming by your comment that you believe they should accept "or" for "oer" Im going to go ahead and say that they shouldnt because "Or" is not correct, nor does it make any sense. "O'er" is a contraction for "Over" therefore the only acceptable word.

19/25 for a Canadian, but I couldn't spell perilous, and messed up on the 2nd last line trying to sing it. But I'm pretty sure some Americans don't even know it lol.
