It's what some people call the hall just inside the door. Usually has a coat closet and maybe a place to put shoes etc. (So you don't track mud all over the house :-P) Also without a source this quiz seems a bit problematic. There are many different houses with many different rooms. For instance what about the library? or the music room? or the pantry?

Den, porch, game room, guest room, library, etc. are all missing. Also why accept basement but not attic?

What is a mud room? Just laundry should be accepted for laundry room.

some people's basements have multiple rooms. If basement is a room so is first floor, second floor, etc.

If a Mud Room is a room just inside a door, than Entryway, Foyer, and Atrium at the LEAST should also be accepted for it.

Also, Game Room, Rec Room, etc. should probably count for Play Room.

basement? attic? mud room is usually inside the back door where you keep your dirty shoes and coats and cat food and stuff. not everyone has one (i don't).

A pantry is not a room. It's a cupboard, unless I'm thinking of something else.

This quiz is awful. The idea is good but your data is inconsistent. Where's 'toilet' (a bathroom without a bath/shower, possibly need shower room), lounge, drawing room). Pantry is a room, so ignore brianmcp^.

Would a garage count as a room?
