| seeing as all your answers are pedantic (not that I dislike that, it just gives me an excuse to be pedantic about your quiz), the last question isn't really correct, first off, you mean zero force resulting on you due to gravity, gravity is the name of the force, not the magnitude, it still exists if it's magnitude is zero, second, the positional centre and the centre of mass of the earth are not the same place, so there will always be a slightly uneven force acting on you due to the earth's gravity, third, even if the resultant force due to earth's gravity was zero, in order to stay in the centre you'd have to be orbiting the sun(orbitting the milky way's centre etc.), which is an acceleration caused by its gravity. I'm not expecting you to include that in the question, but be aware that strictly speaking it is false. |
