| Oh, I get it, it's the independent, thus no american football players (well, there are three, though none of those three are in the true top (Jim Brown, Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor, Walter Payton, etc). And they say the Yanks are xenophobic when it comes to respecting others sports. There is almost no Baseball players, Ruth is WAY underrated. The boxers are all out of order and poorly ranked. THIS is also way slanted towards media darlings over actual talent. (except Jordan who is way way way too low). Laver should be behind Samprass. Big Mig should be ranked higher. I'd say Lance Armstrong belongs here, but I guess he had only won 2 by 2000. Gretzky in the bottom half? Jordan at 31? AWFUL list. |
