	i agree. calculating based on duration and ratings is no good. certain cable shows like the sopranos should be on the "top us tv series" Not your fault of course. Quiz was well done but this is not a list that can be compiled mathematically.

	Good job of translating the list, but maybe you should call it something like "Most Popular". Top implies best-- it led me on the wrong track trying things like Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Hill Street Blues, Soap etc.

	I just used the name given it by the book, but I've changed it to most popular now. I knew that this list would receive criticism because of its favoring of older television shows, which is why I explained the method in the instructions. I don't know that I necessarily agree with this particular list, but I felt like it was a nice opportunity to try to remember older television programs rather than the same programs from the last two decades or so that show up in quizzes over and over.

	Yeah, The Simpsons' omission is puzzling. Not the creator's fault of course. One thing - if you're going to allow "Law and Order" to work for both "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", then you should also allow "CSI" to work for both "CSI" and "CSI: Miami". Just sayin'... ;) Fun quiz (that I sucked at!). Oh, and wasn't "The Wonderful World of Disney" the same thing as "Walt Disney"?

	I gave up after the Simpsons was not accepted. As with the other commenters, not blaming the quiz creator, but whoever created the list.

	@crispycreme: yes, "Walt Disney" went by many names over the years, and that's not the first one. It started as "Disneyland". It was also known as "Walt Disney", "Walt Disney Presents", "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color", "The Magical World of Disney" and "The Wonderful World of Disney".
