Nice game. Real interesting how some geographical clues can throw you way off with this information (ex. Natchez - South Carolina). I guess that's a result of so much displacement like the majority of Seminoles being in Oklahoma and not in Florida anymore.

Yes, that was an interesting result, but it is likely also an undercount: Sources tell me that there are communities of self-identified Natchez living within the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma, but they seem to have been overlooked in the census. I imagine there is much Natchez heritage mixed into other tribes, as well as the Creole population of Louisiana.

Some of the other categories are odd, too, as in addition to single entries like "Paiute" and "Shoshone" there are also categories like "Paiute-Shoshone".

wow, I really need to brush up on my states! And my tribes, come to think of it. Can I ask what made you choose those tribes? That's just curiosity, by the way, not me demanding. I really liked this quiz, even if I was rubbish!

@iakoiatasteris: I wanted to choose a diverse range of tribes, of different sizes and origins. I also knew that I wanted to do a sequel. Some states, like Oklahoma, have many Native Americans, while others, like Pennsylvania, have very few. I balanced the larger, more prominent, familiar tribes with a desire to include many different states.
