I like living close to an Amish community, driving with their horse-drawn buggies on the roadways, and standing in line with their families in the grocery store. When I visit a friend out of state, in Maryland, we have lunch at an Amish marketplace.

I was really surprised to find that so many answers were Midwest states. Agree that this was too much time--I typed over 1/2 of the states going from East to West and still got them all with plenty of time to spare.

I live in one of the most Amish areas of New York. Being able to see their way of life firsthand, I believe that our country would be much more successful if the government was run by Amish people.
