	It's a nice idea for a quiz, but the source data seems pretty shonky. It seems to be less "here are the 10 most dangerous cities in the world, chosen by some fixed criteria", more just "here are 10 cities that are in some sense dangerous, chosen to make an interesting article".

	Ive been to New Orleans and Capetown. They are nowhere near as dangerous as Lagos, Baghdad, Port Harcourt or many other ivory coast cities.

	A late comment but I had to say it, there is no way in hell that a city in the USA could be in the top 5 most dangerous in the world. The only city I might agree on being in the right place is Mogadishu and even then that is debatable.
