| As a Londoner of over 50 years I dispute this most strongly. The Tower of London has been, for decades, the most visited 'Attraction', superseded in recent years by the London Eye (so who are all these people who 'visit' Tower Bridge without also seeing the Tower of London next door? Presumably the same ones who 'visit' The Houses of Parliament whilst ignoring the more impressive Westminster Abbey which is across the road). If Trafalgar Square is an 'attraction' then what about Piccadilly Circus? I live 200 metres from PC and know it is far more of a 'draw' than TS. And I hope you're not trying to tell us that more tourists visit The Museum of London than Madame Tussaud's. One more thing... Ever heard of St Paul's Cathedral? Let's have your 'sources'. Judging by your petty response to henandluke's perfectly valid point I think you've made this up and have been caught out! This is nonsense! |
