I have a few bones to pick:
• "Hawaii" would work much better for "Island", as it is mainly comprised of islands.
• What's wrong with "Virginia" for "Part of a different state name?" (West Virginia).
• What's wrong with "Georgia" for "Girls Name (south)"? I interpreted that clue to mean a state in the southern US that was also a girls name, not a state that began with "South", and in that case, you're picking from a total of two states.
• "Georgia" would also work better for the "Country" clue, as Georgia is an actual country in Asia, whereas "New Mexico" only contains part of a country.
• "Hey Y'ALL" could really be any state in the southern US, not just Texas. And besides, that's not the best cluing I've ever seen.
Here comes the list of clues that need work:
• Miss. Ouri
• Any clues that are just state capitals (or major cities), which shows you didn't really feel like coming up with a proper clue
• "Girls name"
... and more.
All in all, you used a lot of generalizations with poor cluing, and this could seriously be improved.
If you do feel like taking this further, also change the format so you are prompted with the clue, and then you have to find the answer, and alphabetize the answers. |
