Very nice. I was expecting Ireland or the UK because of Belfast (NRA) and London (suspicious foreigners).

Despite our Western governments always telling us that we're at severe risk, red alert or critical threat levels, we're actually pretty safe compared to the countries listed here.

Palestine is not recognized by Sporcle either as a country, and therefore it should not be on this quiz.

I was surprised that Israel was not on the list.

Israel's security barriers and top level security have lowered risk. Since construction of the barrier, terrorist attacks have become almost nonexistent. It does still face continuing rocket fire from Gaza, but I guess that doesn't count as terrorism... i don't know.

msblast6's comment does raise the question for me - what is a death caused by terrorist attack? Clearly, we can eliminate death from disease, work or home injury, and accident, but how did the source distinguish between murder (for non-terrorist purposes), terrorist activities, and acts of war?

Glad to see South Sudan starting to get recognized. Although in this case, it isn't in a very good way! But if you google 'Map of Africa' it is so hard to find one with South Sudan on it. And I am suprised at the 30%+ difference in number of people who got Sudan but not South Sudan!
