Too easy. The last three aren't elements. Why does the third column exist? And how do you define "common"? The most common elements on earth are oxygen and silicon, but neither of those are listed. The most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and helium and neither of those are listed either. As it is right now, this quiz is just listing the symbols for the elements/chemicals listed.

For some reason, I type in "c" and it won't count as correct for carbon.

I had the same problem with carbon as Deng. I think you must have it set not to accept one-letter answers.

Basically what's already been said: the last three aren't elements, these aren't the most common elements of anything, and accept "C" for carbon. Also, probably allow less time once you fix these; 10 minutes is too much.

Gold and Silver are not common, that's why they cost so much. Salt, Chalk and Sulfuric acid are compounds, there is way too much time, and it only accepted C for Carbon after I left a space in front of it.
