| Maybe this is just a provincial philly peeve, but Johan Santana at 33rd best of all time, and no other currently active starters in the top 50? Santana's a great pitcher, no doubt, but is he really 18 slots above Roy Halladay? Santana's better in the strikeout department, and has better stats in the various average based categories, but he's also younger, so his average stats will probably go down more over the course of his whole career. Halladay is ahead of Santana in WAR, where he leads active pitchers. |
