Please accept "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" for us British spellers. Another great quiz. I was seriously hoping to see Jingle All the Way and was not disappointed!

@ maaxwell...even if you're a British speller, you're aware of the existence of the other way of spelling and likely aware that the release title of an American-made film would use the American spelling. What's more, even British papers refer to it by the way it's spelled in the release title. Or at least, the Independent did in this review:
All of which is to say, sweet310, don't accept "Centre" if that's not the way the official title of the movie is spelled.

Y'know, if you think about it, Jailhouse Rock was a song and movie about a gay dance. If number 47 said to me that I was the cutest jailbird he ever did see, I'd be worried.

"The name's Dangerously. Johnny Dangerously." "Did you know your last name is an adverb?"
Mar 27th, 2012 at 16:53 GMT
Wow, Liv Tyler really looks like Michelle Monaghan in that shot.

You shouldn't hang me on a hook, Johnny. My father hung me on a hook once. Once!

I am seriously concerned about the fate of the world if more sporclers don't recognize Johnny Dangerously, a priceless work of art located in the same universe as Airplane and Hot Shots. Go ye and rent, or stream, or whatever, and enjoy the pet shop owner dusting off the puppies.

Calling all cars. Calling all cars. Be on the look out for... Now listen to this. Dangerously and accomplices now dressed as nuns in a sedan covered with... Oh you'll love this... Duckies and bunnies. Calling all cars. Calling all cars. Come to Dooly's bar and grill. I'm buyin'.

Some people say Casablanca or Citizen Kane. I say Jason and the Argonauts is the greatest film ever made. -Tom Hanks
Mar 27th, 2012 at 18:13 GMT
@Juvo, a case can be made that without the special effects of Jason, directors like Lucas, Spielberg, and Cameron may never have been inspired.
Mar 27th, 2012 at 18:38 GMT
I always think of this when I see Jason and the Argonauts:
Great quiz, glad to see some lousy ones mixed in there just for a variety. (I'm lookin' at you, Affleck)

Can't believe so few people have recognised the iconic Harryhousen stop motion scene. 76% of people surely can't have got through life without seeing it on TV at some point.
Mar 27th, 2012 at 21:24 GMT
Good to see some love for Johnny Dangerously, at least in the comments. Pardon me, but I have to go film a malt liquor commercial with the district attorney. Maybe after that I'll visit the Atlanta Genital Institute, or at least show my kid brother a film about it while ma's doing the laundry.
