Warren Spahn was amazing. He led the league in complete games every single year from age 36 through age 42, and in wins from 36 through 40. Crazy.

guessed Kaat for MIN; could've sworn his spots were for Wilbur Wood.

Forgot one! Grover "Pete" Alexander won 20 twice after the age of 35; for the Cubs in 1923 (36) he won 22 games and for the Cardinals in 1927 (40)he won 21 games. Did it twice and with different teams. Amazing!

Bucci shouldn't be voted down. You shouldn't have to remember what the quiz limits were from the previous page. The post 1950 part should be in the notes or the title on this page.

Thanks Pita. I didn't see the post 1950 thing.

Cool quiz. Remember when the Orioles granted Jamie Moyer free agency after the '95 season at an old 32? They just signed him to a minor league contract 17 years later. And Murray Dickson?? Tried Harvey Haddix, Vern Law, Bob Friend, for 1951 Pirates. Finally had to cheat by calling my cousin in Pittsburgh. My apologies to the Sporcle community.

Updated the description to include the years. Had to cut it off at 1950, otherwise it would have gone from a difficult quiz to an impossible quiz. My apologies to the descendants of Old Ross Hadbourn, Spud Chandler, and George McConnell :).
