"Cruft" is a possible alternative for "Gruff"? (It's a bit slangy, but it's in several dictionaries, eg the OED, with citations back to 1959.)

I like these kinds of quizzes because there are none that are so easy everybody gets them, and still a decent amount of people get the one least figured out

all i could think of for _RKE_ was Urkel, and since it's the lowest gotten one, i think it should be an alternate answer. yes? okay

I got all but one really fast, but then it took me nearly two minutes to get "annoy" which was kind of ironic.

How do 60% of people get DOGMA? I've never heard it before. What does it mean?

@MikeyB: –noun, plural -mas, -ma·ta /-mətə/ 1. a system of principles or tenets, as of a church. 2. a specific tenet or doctrine authoritatively laid down, as by a church: the dogma of the Assumption. 3. prescribed doctrine: political dogma. 4. a settled or established opinion, belief, or principle. It was also the title of a great Ben Affleck/Matt Damon movie

Amazing how something that seems so simple could be so tough. I got only 16 my first try (blocked out the answers when time ran out) and 22 my second try. Very tough!

It's funny what we'll try on these questions in desperation. I can't think of "vodka" (unbelievable!) but try to enter "rodko" instead? Shame on me. Also managed to miss "irked", despite not being able to get Steve URKel out of my mind.

Use Wolfram Alpha www.wolframalpha.com Type in _ABC_ where ABC are the given letters. The underscores are the missing letters. Works like a charm.

using websites to help you get the answers is stupid - sporcle is for your own knowledge - the internet already knows the answer.
