It would be fun to have one like this but with the 2nd part of the song when he's singing about the different instruments the fish play. :) These are all really fun though!

Even when I figured out the song all I could get was the chorus

The first words I guessed were the song title. I still only got the 51st percentile.

I also guessed "under" as the first word, but then it seemed like the only lines from the song I could remember weren't included in the quiz. And now it's stuck in my head...

There'll be no accusations, just friendly crustaceans, under the sea!

I didn't remember any of the opening lyrics, but I remembered the part with all the different fish/instruments, but that wasn't included. (You know, the newt plays the flute, the carp plays the harp).

One of the first times I actually figure out the song right off the bat, and it leaves out most of the parts I know. Didn't it have something about a "hot crustacean band" (rhyming with "sand") and say it's "hotter under the water," etc.? *goes to Google lyrics*

That would've been the most fun part to try and remember. So far I can remember the carp played the harp, the plaice played the bass and they sounding sharp... ... and Oh that Blowfish Blow!

VEC: That was all I could think of. That's your solution to everything, to move under the sea. Well, it's not gonna happen! Not with that attitude.

YES YES YES!! This is my friends' and my favorite Disney song! For the other "Figure Out the Lyrics" Disney quiz, "sea" was the first word I tried, as it was this time. Yay! I am so happy!

Gutted that my favourite bit was missed out but pretty pleased with how much I got right. Couldn't think of the first line though so missed a lot of the first column. Clearly I need to swot up. :)

It was insufferable how many times a shorter version of the correct word was accepted (else for else's, thing for things, lookin for looking, devotin for devoting, float for floating, wave for waves, worse for worser, who for who's, fric for fricassee, bubble for bubbles). If you're not going to stick to the true lyrics then why even bother?

Not the best song choice to expect people to know the lyrics to. As a poster above said as soon as they figured out what the song was they only knew the chorus. As soon as I figured out what the song was I had to give up as I haven't seen The Little Mermaid and don't know the song particularly well at all. Was expecting a real Disney classic song like "When You Wish Upon A Star" or "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah"... In theory, it's a good idea for a quiz, just a poor choice of song on this one.

I understand accepting things like lookin' for looking, as annoying as I found it while typing, that is what it sounds like that little Carribbean Crustacean says, but things like wave for waves would be better corrected,IMHO.

The 18-27 or so age group were probably a little more jazzed over this song being chosen, seeing as how we grew up in the Disney Renaissance era. I would now consider this a classic because it's been over 20 years since this movie was released, which makes me feel very old.

@Turkey: Because some of us actually remember our childhood. Have you even SEEN a Disney movie? Are you saying that they aren't good or interesting? Wrong!

LOL, I clicked when I got "wetter" (although I misspelled "went" as wet and it gave me that word). From then on it was a matter of trying to remember as much as I could. Lots of bits missed out though. Got the 71st percentile though :D ... I need to get out more!

Took forever for me to figure it out. While doing these I always listen to other music for word suggestions. Finally I had 'Just look at the world around you' and I somehow remembered that.

I go at these quizzes with articles and prepositions first so "under" and "the" came early: title, no problem. Just the academy award-winning lyrics hum hum hum hmmmm.... bubbles...

Entertaining quiz!! Even though I'm terrible at lyrics, somehow the added feature of having to figure out the song made it so much more fun.

Argh, a song that I actually know the words to and I just didn't get it! I try sky, earth and land but didn't think about sea!
