Aaron Brooks was a Raider in 2005.

He actually played for the Saints until 2005, he didnt become a Raider until 2006 (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BrooAa00.htm).

This really shows the strides that guys like Fitzpatrick, Freeman, Stafford, Orton, and Brees have taken. Also, not to give up too early on a rookie QB.

Interesting to note that there's been a combined 9 Super Bowl appearances by these guys, Aikman (3), Farve (1), and Brees (1) have won, while Hasselbeck, Grossman, Delhomme, and Farve all lost one.

Well, yes, but that's skewed by the fact they were at the end and didn't have anything left. Only Brees went on to win one, and only he and Hasselbeck went on later to appear in one.

awesome quiz. these guys can be divided into 4 groups: 1. Promising young guys who are getting adjusted to the pros (ex. stafford, brees) 2. Career backups who stepped in for a year because of injury/retirement of old QB (Kyle Boller) 3. Formerly great veterans who didnt age gracefully (Favre, Aikman 4. Guys who had no business in the NFL (Akili smith, dan orlovsky, jamarcus russell)

Poor David Carr. It's hard to be a good QB when you're throwing from the ground

Guys please don't hate on Jamarcus russell. He was a very solid quarterback...for years he threw the ball 200 yards past the receiver and used codeine tubs instead of ice tubs. Just please don't hate :'(

I have to believe JaMarcus Russell would've been a better QB if he hadn't been the number 1 pick. The amount of pressure there is just too great for someone like him.

The only four teams not on here are the Pats, Steelers, Giants, and Eagles, teams that have been to a combined 12 Super Bowls in the past 12 years. Shows you the importance of a franchise quarterback.

Hard to believe Alex Smith didn't crack the list once. To hear the media talk you'd think he's owned the worst rating in the league since he was drafted.

As a Panthers fan, I always laugh whenever I type in Jake Delhomme for one of these answers. Funny to think this guy took us to the Super Bowl and almost beat the Pats. Also funny to see Drew Brees here and not Alex Smith...

Life's not fair when you are a vikings fan...... I'm surprised there isn't mcnabb on this list. His first pass as a viking was picked of by a DT and returned like 37 yards for a TD. By the way nice quiz!41/60
