This is my first non-sports quiz so and I really don’t know the standard for movie quizzes are so you’ll have to help me out if I made mistakes in actors, what I accept for each movie or whatever else. I tried to look back into some archived quizzes but I’m sure I still have a decent amount of mistakes. Ill be around for a while, so if you can comment me I should be able to make corrections right away so future players won’t run into the same problems. Also the search seemed very specific so this quiz could have been done already, so if it has let me know and I’ll take it down.

Are you sure April 2001 was Kingdom Come? I thought Bridget Jones's Diary made more money.
Jun 25th, 2011 at 09:04 GMT
You are correct, looks like my source is wrong.

Nice quiz. One typo I spotted on the July 2010 movie..
Jun 25th, 2011 at 17:51 GMT
Can you check on October 2001? Looks to me like K-Pax wasn't even released until the last weekend of October while Training Day had made 65 million by that time.
Jun 25th, 2011 at 18:02 GMT
Your right I changed it.

Once again, I see the surname "Stewart" and immediately think of Jimmy, then Jon, and then get disappointed when I realize who it really is. Great quiz.

Why does only O. Wilson get an initial? (Not that it would have helped me think of Ron Perlman, because I was try to figure out when Rhea Perlman had a hit movie.)
Jul 13th, 2011 at 16:06 GMT
Please accept "Twilight Eclipse" for "Twilight. And now that I've actually started a sentence with "Pleace accept Twilight", I think I'm going to kill myself.
Jul 17th, 2011 at 23:16 GMT
Can I suggest accepting "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe"?
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 16:07 GMT
@FearTheManatee: I think Jimmy, then Patrick, and am equally disappointed when I realise who really it is.

I saw "Wood" and all I could think of was Ed...I thought that couldn't be right. Total facepalm when I saw Elijah.

I didn't get Beverly Hills Chihuahua... Is it wrong to be proud I missed it
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 21:08 GMT
Correct spelling is Deathly Hallows, not Deathly Hollows. Fix please.
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 21:12 GMT
There are some seriously terrible movies on this list--no accounting for taste, I suppose.
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 21:43 GMT
July and August are out of order in 2001.
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 22:01 GMT
There is a totally a cross formed in the answers by The LORD of the Rings, The Passion of the CHRIST, DareDEVIL, SIN City, and HELLboy. I'm calling this in the the Vatican's hotline!
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 23:19 GMT
One small typo, it's Harry Potter and the SoRcerer's Stone.
Jul 22nd, 2011 at 23:39 GMT
I learned one major thing from this quiz; I don't know jack about recent movies.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 00:47 GMT
How is Alice not the lead in Alice in Wonderland (Mia Wasikowska)? If two actors were named, I'd understand putting Depp, but the movie is really about Alice.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 00:54 GMT
This quiz is so good, that I gave it 144/5 globes! (because it's so GROSS, and 1 GROSS=144!)
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 02:36 GMT
YAY for franchises! Harry Potter... Transformers... Pirates of the Carribean... SMH.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 02:42 GMT
I don't know what's more shocking, the fact that The Matrix trilogy started back in the 90s (really? it was that long ago) or that Beverly Hills Chihuahua sold enough tickets to be tops at the box office for an entire month...was every other screen showing reruns of Battlefield Earth?
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 03:16 GMT
How the hell did I forget Lord of the Rings, yet manage to get Scooby Doo?! Sigh. Damn you, Elijah Wood.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 04:03 GMT
SWAT beat Freddy vs Jason for August 2003? That's my one big outcry with this list otherwise it seems like standard popcorn fare.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 06:55 GMT
Another small quibble on presentation, you have 'Spider-Man', 'Spider-Man 3' and 'Spiderman 2', the last one should be 'Spider-Man 2'.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 08:14 GMT
I entered Harry Potter and BOOM! All of them except Order of the Phoenix.
Jul 23rd, 2011 at 14:45 GMT
March, September, and October really brought down an excellent year of movies in 2003.

Jul 25th, 2011 at 03:32 GMT
Yeah, I saw "Wood" and all I could come up with was "Evan Rachel." D'oh.
Jul 26th, 2011 at 09:46 GMT
Another typo - Radcliffe not Radlciffe for Nov 2002 but otherwise a good quiz :)
Jul 26th, 2011 at 21:33 GMT
for Ice Age: Meltdown you have "Ige" written instead of Ice

Oct 4th, 2011 at 15:13 GMT
Anyone know why the American title for the first Harry Potter book is different to the British one, out of interest?
Dec 24th, 2011 at 21:58 GMT
Because it was felt that Americans wouldn't know what the Philosopher's Stone was. This list is so depressing.
