2.6% of quiztakers are related to Garrett Stephenson. :)

Interesting bit of trivia: in Jamie Moyer's major league debut, he pitched three scoreless innings against the St. Louis Perfectos in relief of Cy Young.

This is way harder than I thought it would be. Mostly because as a Cub fan, I just tune out the existence of the Cardinals.

I'm embarrased to point out that I know this off the top of my head, but Garrett Stephenson actually won 16 games in 2000, not 15. Please change it--that MUST be why so few people have gotten that one right :)

Surprised only 2 of these teams went on to win the WS, the 05 White Sox and the 07 Red Sox. I thought pitching wins championships? Lol

Awesome quiz. Way harder than expected. Jeff Suppan's presence on this quiz is further proof that wins is the worst of the traditional stats.

How do you split it up into categories like this? I've been trying to make quizzes like this, but I haven't been successful.

You go to the style page and the second thing from the bottom you say group answer with same hint, you can chose how many column you want from there. Then you go to data and whatever you want grouped you type in the exact same thing in hint column of the left. Like I typed Colorado 2009 for the first 3 hints. Then you keep continuing. Make sure everything is typed the exact same way or they wont be grouped together.

I got most of the yankees.... forgot clemens (but got pettite, go figure), wang (he was easy to forget), and johnson (another fairly easy guy to forget) lol... Problem is I really don't know the other teams, oh well

Best be ready to add Cliff Lee, Cole Hamels and Roy Halladay to this quiz after this year.

Shame Oswalt is hurt. Could potentially have four 15 game winners this year

@EmYanks2001 Got most of the Yankees, eh? From your description, you only got Mussina, Pettitte, and Wells. Hmm....I'm not sure what kind of funny math figures 3/6 players as most...

I thought for sure some team made it from this season, but it looks like there were only pairs of teammates that made it. (7 pairs, to be exact: Verlander and Scherzer (Tigers), Kennedy and Hudson (Diamondbacks), Halladay and Lee (Phillies), Sabathia and Nova (Yankees), Weaver and Haren (Angels), Gallardo and Greinke (Brewers), and Wilson and Holland (Rangers))
