Sir Attenborough, Villa, Dr. Who and The Hoff - I'm clearly in good company! I'm also quite shocked by how low Cameron is - less widely known than the magicians. I can't imagine Berlusconi, Sarkozy or even Merkel would receive a lower percentage than 35%, all of whom are of comparable importance on the world stage (well, Berlusconi probably slightly less so but he gets extra fame points for all his comedy buffoonery).
@Squita: It's conceivable that more than 1.1% know who he is but simply couldn't spell that name - not that I was one of them, I only realised I recognised him when I looked through his filmography and checked Google images. I must have actually seen more of him than I have of David Letterman for instance - the only reason I was able to guess the latter is that he has pervaded American culture to such an extent that he is constantly referenced in American TV shows broadcast here in the UK. Anyway, there is no harm in having difficult, obscure answers as well as obvious and moderately difficult ones is there? Everyone gets the same. |
