I can't believe they never won anything with some of those teams. They were so great in the early and mid '90s.

I have very little ability to name any CWS, except for A.J. Pierzynski, whom I despise with ever fiber of my being.

Why is the title of this quiz "White Sox Opening Day Lineups 1991-2010" when all of the other published lineup quizzes (Mariners, Red Sox, Yankees) do not include the years? It should be just "White Sox Opening Day Lineups" for consistency sake.

@juice18: They did win their division in 1993.

Surprised there's nobody named White on a team called the White Sox! LOL.

Rondell White was briefly on the cubs...so close. I like the ten years of rosters quizzes, I think only because the thought process "I dunno...Kenny Lofton must have played for them at some point" is so consistently rewarding.

I love the White Sox and I've forgotten how truly awful some of those late 90's teams were. I still want to slap Mike Caruso in the face.

Obama should take this. He couldn't name one White Sox (his favorite team) player when asked during an ESPN broadcast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX0PSoCTFas

I'm disappointed that Craig Grebeck never got an opening day start. I loved that little guy.

What I find most fascinating about this quiz is that you can see gray dots in between all the boxes

I think you should also accept AJ Pierzynski where A.J. is spelled without periods.

@Dezotell We hardly got anything out of Wells either. He only pitched maybe half a season for us because of back spasms. I guess it's better than Sirotka, who never even played, but still.

The nice thing about these team lineup quizzes is that you can guess Kenny Lofton for all of them.

The white sox have one of the most forgettable lineups with the exception of the 5 players who were with the team forever. (paul konerko, mark beurhle, frank thomas, pierzynski, and ray durham) and u basically have a 1/4 of this quiz filled out.

I'd like to trade this current lineup with about 5 or 6 different ones but keeping this pitching staff.

Three great White Sox memories from a time about to disappear from this quiz: 1) Beating the Yankees despite getting no-hit by Andy Hawkins on the last birthday of Old Comiskey. 2) Ventura's walk-off grand slam, down 2 in the bottom of the 9th against the Rangers. 3) Craig Grebeck and Ozzie Guillen (combined career homers: 47) going back-to-back off Nolan Ryan. Grebeck's first MLB homer, and Ozzie's only one of the season.

Remembered DeWayne Wise (because of that catch he had to save Buehrle's no-hitter), but forgot Maggs. Ugh.
