It's "he will not mind me stopping here" not "he will not see"

Awesome! I guessed "snow" on a whim and from that point it was just a matter of remembering details like the farmhouse, etc.

@antiomi - Funny, I thought it was 'mind' too, but a check of several web sources convinced me otherwise. I also was sure it was "...if there's been some mistake", but I was mistaken there too. Bottom line: I wouldn't have scored 100% on my own quiz. :-)

Argh-- "between" the woods and frozen lake! I always think "beyond." Grrrrrrr. My favorite part has always been "The only other sound's the sweep/of easy wind and downy flake." Beautiful.

Awesome! First poem I tried! I forget to say "whose woods these are" and say it the wrong way . . . but it's still all the words! I've known this poem since I was in 3rd grade. First poem I had to memorize.

Somehow I guessed it might be this poem before I started too :-) but sadly, couldn't remember all the words. Beautiful quiz; and this format works so well for poetry, just as for songs, that I'm surprised others haven't done it before now…

Nominated - despite missing more than I'd like to confess to. For anyone who likes this style of quiz here's another (yes a shameless plug...) http://www.sporcle.com/games/sufradley/figure_out_the_poem
