| Go to the source and it's surprising how few votes the Communist Party and Workers Revolutionary Party got, which among other things shows how few seats they had the strength or local concentration to contest. Ditto for the Workers Party (presumably the one that descended from Official Sinn Féin), Mebyon Kernow (the Cornish nationalists) and the National Front. All fell clearly below the 10,000 threshold, most of them well, well below. And there's no Social Democratic Party (SDP) at all. See more results at the Wikipedia page on "United Kingdom General Election, 2005". The parties are again different for the General Election of 2010.
