| Alright. Arky Vaughan has been fixed, I apologize for the error. I've also eliminate the asterisks and people with two positions on one team have been given both of those spots. Outlander, that was actually a very long process. Firstly I clicked on each respective team and went to their batting leaders, specifically the home run leaders. From there I had to click on each individual player to get their position(s) and home runs totals at those positions. If the player played for only one team, it was quite easy. I simply clicked on the home run log, and it gives a position-by-position break down of the player's career home runs. For players on multiple teams, I clicked on their splits, which breaks up stats by position and I calculated home run totals based on years they played with each specific team. This, of course, posed some issues when I discovered that this was not recorded before the approximately the 1960's. In that case (for players like Babe Ruth, for example), I actually had to go to their home run log, got through every individual game in which they hit a homer, and total up home runs at every position. That process was extremely tedious, but it got the job done. Obviously, it took me a LONG time to make the quiz, and there was probably a better way to gather my data, but it is what it is and I'm pretty happy with the result. Thanks to everyone for voicing your concerns and I hope you enjoyed the quiz. |
