this was a tricky one for a Brit! Managed 45 out of 50, could have been worse

For a Brit, 45 is pretty good. Any American should get 50, though.

Amazing, Texas became a state on December 29th, 1845. The 28th state of the union. Did you think it was its own country or something?...

This quiz is actually a bit tricky if you don't have a map to look at to show you which one(s) you missed. It's very easy (at least for us Americans) when you can look at the map, but when you have to name them all without a map you always tend to forget one or two.

Oh, I see, my sarcasm radar failed to work on the internets again. "When did Texas become a state?" was meant to be a joke I suppose. All well. By the way, why doesn't this thing format these posts in the order they're made? It's ridiculous trying to find what's in response to what.

Well done magitser. You're so clever in pointing out that no one likes me. Didn't you realise from my provocative nature and sarcastic comments i was trying to force people to be wound up and react. Mission accomplished P.S. You smell

Fun game. I remember having to name all of the states on grammar school. They gave us a blank map of the U.S and we had to write the name in the proper location.

They named the state after Hannah Montana cos she's great! What's the deal with connecticut, anyway? Can americans spell? Or maybe they can't pronounce anything properly? Anyways, it's one or the other!

When Connecticut was named they were still technically British citizens.
