	First let me say, this was a fun quiz, and well done. But, honestly... who really knows 'With a Little Help from my Friends' wasn't done by The Beatles and can only think "Yeah, Joe Cocker was the only guy who did that right?" I mean, yes, Joe Cocker's version was on a well known show as the opening song, but really, I'm pretty sure everyone knows the Beatles did it first. Also, I wasn't even aware Adam Lambert (The American Idol guy, right?) did a cover of "Mad World.' I think that one should definately be Tears for Fears - Mad World - Gary Jules. After I heard Jules' version on Donnie Darko, I had to have it. I wasn't even aware it was a Tears for Fears song until it showed up in the search. Just my opinions; but again, fantastic idea for a quiz, and well executed.

	@lucy: The quiz is correct. It asks for versions that charted higher, not that are better known. In some cases, such as the Beatles, the original didn't chart at all. @stanvick: Good work! If you need to add one more to the first column to even things out, how about Hank Ballard / Chubby Checker? Be sure you allow "Don't Think Twice It's Alright" for Dylan/PP&M, since they had a hit with that Dylan song too. I'm not sure if Cocker's version of "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" made the charts.

	@lucy: As rockgolf pointed out, the quiz is based on which versions charted higher. I would totally agree that Gary Jules has a better and more well known version of Mad World, but when looking up the stats, it turned out it was Adam Lambert who charted best. Similarly, I originally thought to go Joan Jett/Britney Spears on "I Love Rock n Roll" and Sonny Curtis/The Clash on "I fought the law." But neither of us can argue with the Billboard Hot 100 numbers. @golf: Thanks for the ideas. I'm considering making a "part two" quiz. Also, I never thought to look into the possibility of numerous correct answers. I'll do so.

	@rock, I always loved Joe Cocker's version of "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window". Thought it was a better cover than the correct answer. Also, How about Joe Cocker's version of Traffic's "Feelin' Alright" or Jimi Hendrix doing the Leaves' "Hey Joe" and Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower"?

	Fun quiz, but it bums me out that some of these covers charted higher than the originals, when the originals were so much better (imho)...especially New Order, Fleetwood Mac & Lennon.

	ummm sorry to break it to you but jeff buckley's version of "hallelujah" never broke the hot 100 (which is pretty ridiculous considering that it topped hot digital songs in 2008 after an idol performance -- but billboard didn't think that qualified for entry into the main chart since the burst in popularity was kinda random). the only versions that did make it onto the main chart were the recent hope for haiti telethon cover and a version by some other person that i can't recall off the top of my head.

	Uh, take the Blue Monday **** off of here. I don't care what the Billboard Hot 100 said, but New Order's version is far and away the best selling 12" single of all time. Orgy's is a complete afterthought.

	How about "Gloria"? The song was first recorded by Them, whose version only cracked the top 80. The Shadows of Knight's cover went all the way to #10.

	Adam Lambert was covering Gary Jules's version so I think that would be a better choice. That and The Clash for I Fought The Law.
