Spooky.. Wa having a conversation about this exact ubject only yesterday! Got all twelve with 1.17 to spare!
Apr 26th, 2010 at 08:35 GMT
You spelled Hotspur wrong and Stenhousemuir aren't from Falkirk, they're from Stenhousemuir
May 12th, 2010 at 14:05 GMT
Not according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falkirk#Sport
Aug 28th, 2010 at 22:29 GMT
East Stirlingshire USED to play in Falkirk. They now ground share with Stenhousemuir, so Stenhousemuir should be included and not Falkirk.

There is 13 clubs in London! You missed Millwall, Charlton, Dagenham and R and QPR,get it right!
Sep 1st, 2010 at 14:01 GMT
And there is 3 in B'ham, you missed WBA.
Sep 7th, 2010 at 11:00 GMT
there are in fact 4 teams in birmingham, u missed WBA like Tague4 rightly said, but theres also Walsall, which is near west brom.
Sep 11th, 2010 at 05:19 GMT
shouldn't tranmere be on here aswell?
Oct 3rd, 2010 at 16:16 GMT
Tranmere is in Birkenhead, not Liverpool. Walsall isn't really in Birmingham, though West Brom is.

Queens Park aren't professional they are amateur. Technically Stenny and East Stirling are only semi pro and neither play in Falkirk at the moment so thats a bit misleading
Dec 26th, 2010 at 14:29 GMT
i only got 6, but i should have got birmingham, stoke, glasgow, edinburgh and possibly dundee. But i'm obviously not hardcore enough to know that Falkirk, Stenhousemuir and East Stirlingshire are all from the same place!
Mar 27th, 2011 at 21:28 GMT
As Tague4 says, there are 13 clubs in London! Charlton, Millwall and QPR are all right near the centre, D&R on the fringes. Greater Manchester would also include Bolton, Oldham, Wigan, Bury, Rochdale and Stockport -- if you're just counting the City of Manchester then there's only Man City (Man U are way out in Trafford!).
Oct 8th, 2011 at 10:24 GMT
Walsall and West Brom and not in Birmingham
Nov 11th, 2011 at 20:14 GMT
you should call it football league or Scottish football league rather than professional.

Getting even more obscure. I thought Stenhousemuir's ground was in Larbert. The two towns run into each other. Checked on internet and address comes up as either Larbert or Stenhousemuir depending what you're looking at.

A few problems with this one as mentioned above. The problem is that football clubs increasingly migrate and are not necessarily located in the town or city from which they derive their name. Manchester United have not been located in the city of Manchester for many decades so Manchester only has one club. The Hawthorns straddles the border between Birmingham and Sandwell so Birmingham has three clubs. Stenhousemuir and East Stirlingshire share a ground in Larbert, so this has two clubs and Falkirk one. However Larbert is within the Falkirk District Council area.
Jun 16th, 2012 at 09:41 GMT
Stenhousemuir are in Stenhousemuir, not Larbert. And yes, East Stirlingshire currently groundshare with them. If you add to that the fact that Falkirk's ground is actually (just) in Grangemouth, then it is arguable that Falkirk has no league teams, but Stenny has two. (East Stirling's offices are still in Falkirk, mind, although Falkirk's aren't!)
