Can you name the images that each start with the letter 'Z'?

Enter an answer in the box below
Correctly named answers will show up below
If your obvious answer isn't working, you probably have to be more specific. For example, ZOO is too general; you need to identify the specific animal in the zoo you're searching for.

You should probably also accept Zeke for the airplane. That was the official Allied reporting name. Loved this series. Sad to see it end!

@Trivial Thanks and great point. I added Zeke too. Yeah this was a fun series to make. I'm going to be taking a bit of a hiatus from quiz writing for a bit, but i have sequels already planned for most of the common letters. Thanks for everyone taking these and providing good feedback so I could make them better.

I think that the name "ziggurat" refers only to a Sumerian or Babylonian pyramid, not to a Maya one like that in the picture. (Agreed, it's hard to find an image of a Mesopotamian ziggurat that isn't ruined).

@dancastro Yes, there are no longer any Mesopotamian ones, but there is a hotel near me in that shape and the dictionary says a ziggurat can be a Mesopotamian stepped pyramid or any structure or object of similar form.

I couldn't make out one of the pictures very clearly, but using the "Zoom" feature, I was able to get a bigger image and determine that I was looking at lemon peel.

You should accept "zip" or "zip fastener" as well as "zipper" - not everyone speaks American English.

@Amelia4242: The Zero is the most famous Japanese WWII fighter plane - pretty much their equivalent of the British Spitfire or American Mustang. It was also used as a kamikaze plane. The red dots on white background make it clear what it is for anyone who has heard of it before - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_A6M_Zero

@koopa08 The brand name for the bags is spelled Ziploc, but the dictionary regular word for that type of bag is ziplock.
